Caspin Journeys started nearly 25 years ago when Caroline and Pino were asked to help a group of American friends set up a walking tour in Italy because Italy is Pino’s motherland and Caroline had guiding experience. The vacation was put together initially as a friend’s reunion.
They didn’t imagine then that guiding could become their full-time occupation, and then their children’s passion.
The trip was such a success that it soon sparked a series of subsequent tours which quickly sprouted into the business the Nobile family, also know as the Caspin Family, still run today.
Travel, for us, has always been about more than reaching a destination. It’s about the journey itself – taking the time to truly “know” a place at a human pace and rhythm.
Caspin Journeys, a family-run company, launched by Caroline and Pino, has now smoothly passed to the able management of the second generation, with Antonio taking the helm.
What began as a shared passion for walking, discovery and meaningful encounters has grown into a collection of thoughtfully crafted journeys, shaped by experience, continuity and care.
Our tours are designed for curious travellers who feel drawn to the outdoors, history and culture, and to food that reflects the soul of a place. We prioritise local, fresh and seasonal ingredients, shared around welcoming tables — from simple village recipes to regional specialities and carefully chosen wines — always authentic, never staged.
Every itinerary is personally researched and carefully arranged, allowing you to travel with ease and fully immerse yourself in the journey. We travel in small, like-minded groups, creating space for connection and a more intimate way of discovering each destination. Our tours range from one to nearly two weeks, offering the time needed to slow down and settle into each place.
Exploring mostly on foot and often away from the crowds, we follow quiet paths, local traditions and genuine encounters. This is travel shaped by relationships, guided by trust and shared over time — the Caspin way.
