My parents, Caroline and Pino, founded Caspin Journeys in 1992, and together we have spent over thirty years crafting small-group walking, hiking and gourmet tours. We take care of every detail, and make every experience personal. We are a family business, and every journey we lead carries that spirit: the shared table, the hidden path, the story told over a glass of local wine. From the unique palaces of Andalucía to the picturesque cottages of the Cotswolds, from the stunning peaks of the Dolomites, to the ancient land of Sicily we don’t just show you places, we bring you into them.

Getting out and about on foot is a wonderful way to slow down the pace, relax and get some healthy exercise.
As we stroll through historic towns we learn about the culture of the people; as we stand in the splendor of the countryside, beneath the soaring columns of ancient temples, abbey walls and turrets of medieval castles we marvel at man’s ability to conceive of and construct such monuments.
We believe that where you sleep is an important part of your overall travel experience. So, we put a lot of effort into carefully choosing the hotels for each tour.
The result is a fabulous selection of delightful hotels, medieval palaces, family-run hotels with authentic local charm, country residences, manor houses, historic inns, luxurious alpine hotels – sometimes with a spa, sauna, or swimming pool facilities – and all with character, tasty food and a friendly atmosphere.
Italy, Spain, England and Corsica are our homes and our passion. We bring that excitement with us on all our tours so that you too share our favourite places.
With 30 years leading walking tours, we have selected the only the best, most experienced guides who allow us to handle all the practical matters while you enjoy every part of your travelling adventure.
We know the locals on all our trips and they love meeting our groups. We are small enough to get into private homes, chat to villagers, fit in small restaurants and enjoy all kinds of unexpected events that aren’t accessible to large groups of tourists following a red umbrella.
We personally research each itinerary and make all the arrangements so you can maximise your time and enjoyment. Our journeys are for people who have a passion for the Outdoors, Culture, Good Company, Great Food and Wine.
We like to think of our guests as travellers, not tourists. Our groups are small and the people are like-minded.
Usually a Caspin tour lasts a week to 13 days and is escorted by two of our expert and local guides, most of the time at least one of them is part of the Nobile family. We travel in some of the most characteristc areas of our destinations and immerse you in the local culture and tradition in a unique way… the Caspin way!
