Travel with confidence

Our vaccination and testing policy.

The global situation continues to evolve and we are working hard to make sure every element of your journey with us is covered and are regularly reviewing our policies to comply with local protocols while on tour. Our policies are designed to protect the health of everyone in the group and the destinations we visit. We hope you’ll find ours both comforting and easy to adjust to. All our tour leaders, drivers, local guides, and guests must carry proof of COVID-19 vaccination and follow health and well-being measures to protect everyone on tour.

Vaccination –

all our tour leaders, drivers, local guides, and guests must have completed their vaccination course at least 14 days prior to joining a Caspin tour. This can either be two doses of the currently approved COVID-19 vaccines or the approved single-dose Janssen COVID-19 vaccine. A single dose of any other vaccine will not be accepted. A third, booster dose is also highly recommended before travel.

On Tour –

things that make a Caspin journey so special:

  • the Great Outdoors
  • wonderful walks
  • healthy hikes
  • historic towns
  • ancient archaeological sites
  • marvellous museums
  • delicious dining experiences
  • luxuriously restful accommodations
  • good company with like-minded people

When Indoors –

in hotels and public areas or travelling in our minibus or other vehicle you may be required to wear a face mask that covers your nose and mouth.

During the Tour –

if your leaders consider it advisable for any reason you may be asked to take a covid-test. This may be a home-kit or a pharmacy-controlled test. Home-kits can usually be purchased locally but we advise you to bring with you at least one home-testing kit anyway.

Travel Insurance –

It is your responsibility to ensure you have appropriate travel insurance in place before you join a tour with us. Whilst we hope you never have to claim, the policy will ensure you’re able to relax knowing you’re protected should you need it. When travelling with us, your insurance should include medical cover for medical expenses related to COVID-19, as well as repatriation, cancellation and curtailment and full cover for all pre-existing medical conditions in the countries you are due to visit. You will be asked to send us a copy of your travel insurance policy and we recommend you bring a printed copy with you for reference.

Our Protocols are subject to change as we work to ensure all our practices evolve in line with the latest advice. Rest assured, our primary focus is always to help protect the health and well-being of our leaders, guides, guests, and the communities we visit.

We look forward to touring with you soon!
